Yung pinalitan ko na LTX mahigit 58K sa odo wala pang crack sa sidewall kaya lang may malalalim na butas na. Talagang matibay ang Michelin. 10% pala ng Michelin, GT Radial ang gumagawa.

The LTX tires are terrific in terms of lifespan. Ours are only two years old, but have 100k kms on them, and the tread is still deep.

But they're f***ing scary in braking, they lock up easily, wet or dry... especially in the wet, under braking, so I wouldn't recommend them. My Mom's driver has almost had accidents because of these, and my very first frontal collision was due to these tires (from f***ing three car lengths away at just 80 km/h, gadammit!!!)

Go for the Forteras or some other equally road-biased SUV/AUV tires... it's not worth the risk on the road to run off-road tires if you're never going off-road. If you drive really slowly, though, and not on the highway, I guess they're okay.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Which tires are better? The Michelin LTX or the Yokohama Geolandar?

Is the Michelin really lock up thar easily? The stock tires for the sportivo is Yokohama while the XUV uses the Michelin. But the Michelin is way more expensive? why is it like that?

Since we got our Hi-Lander XTRM, OEM niya LTX A/T, super tagal maupod pero nagccrack due to age na. Mahirap din makahanap ng new stocks sa province so we got the Yokohama Delivery Star instead, so far ok naman mas magaan siya dalhin. You might also want to check that out.

Actually kaya po ganun ang kinuha namin dahil pang city at short drives na lang naman yung sasakyan, no need for more expensive A/Ts na hirap din naman makahanap at least in our location, dati sa Manila pa kami nagpapalit ng gulong nung malayo pa tinatakbo niya.
