The minor nip/tuck on the MUX BluePower made such a huge improvement to its overall appeal.

The more aggressive front, the bigger rims, the rear spoiler. All minor things but it makes the MUX look more upscale now, up to par with the Fortuner and Everest.

Outstanding performance from the 3.0 engine, and feature set is pretty good as well. I'm now feeling a tinge of regret that we didn't get the MUX.

Then again, the MUX's biggest achilles heel, its interior, remains unadressed. And handling is still floaty as ever.

Overall, I think the MUX got the makeover it deserves, and can now compete toe to toe with the Everest Trend and Fortuner instead of being just a "cheaper option".

My fortuner 2.4 is noisy specially when you push it. The montero is > mux > fortuner. You buy the fortuner nowadays just for the badge and pafa masabing may fortuner ka. Want a toyota, buy an LC.

I already have the 265/60 in the mean times. probably just change it to 255/60 once the tires needs changing. For now, I'll just keep the 265/60 for maybe a year. Is it okay to use the same rims with different tires?

The leather seats of the blue power are softer than the previous model and more comfortable than the Everest, the door sidings also have leather trims sana lang they made the steering wheel a bit smaller in diameter and increased the thickness of the grip.
I prefer the bigger interior vantage point of the MU-X than most PPVs even on the 3rd row seats, it creates a more relax feeling specially on long drives.

It's not just the leather. The steering wheel and dashboard design just don't look worth 1.8M.

The Chinese model MUX fixed that, too bad it's not coming out here.
