4JX1 - Isuzu Trooper troubles already resolved?

D kaya yung '03 models & up yung may problema? because mine is '02 4x2 LS model w/0 sunroof, now 120,000+ sa ODO but never experienced any problem sa engine..

Considering hindi ako specific sa type ng oil, basta't dinadala ko lang sa Petron every 3 months then use the Trekker oil for diesel (advise ng mekaniko), never pa nga ako nag palit ng fuel filter , nabili ko yun trooper ko last Dec 06, I guess im lucky.

Jaykzj, noong nabili mo last dec 2006 ang trooper mong 2002 model ilan na ang ODO niya? Kasi baka noong nabili mo siya bagong palit na ang injector niya.

An X1 expert who owns the no.2 serial number on this engine told me to always use AC Delco sensors and actuators and you will have less problems.

Jaykzj, noong nabili mo last dec 2006 ang trooper mong 2002 model ilan na ang ODO niya? Kasi baka noong nabili mo siya bagong palit na ang injector niya.

Hi Nap123, cant remeber exactly but it was around 100k+..I think it was already replaced kase the first owner always use the CASA for service maintenance.

Considering na napalitan nga yung injectors, wala na kaya problema yun?

Sir 4JGtootsie, yung friend mo ba na X1 expert has replaced his unit's injectors already? Is it correct to assume that based on the threads, most problematic troopers are the euro 3 one's (a/t sunroof version)?

The exact problem of the engine is an oring. Unless they get a material that can withstand the extreme pressure then the problem will just come back.

Sino nang nakabenta ng 4JX1 skyruf nila? patulong naman... magkano niyo nabenta? plano namin ibenta sa amin ng mga 450-500k... naayos na ng recall, 93k kms, and mejo sira sira na yung leather ng manubela pati ng drivers seat. pede kaya? or mas akma 350-400k?

yup just the o-ring naman sa injectors ang prob... what they have replaced sa amin is yun improved version already daw... its like a copper oring... but the prob lang is that once the oring bumigay the injectors also is affetced kaya they have to replace the whole thing...

Kung local version yan mura na yan, you can sell it 500K. Ano palang year model? mas okay ipaayus mo yung leather ng manibela at linisin interior. For the price of 500K okay na yan. Basta napalitan na ng injector at okay ang takbo.

yung may malaking prob yung 03 skyroof AT diba? ganun yung sa amin eh....

seriously no problem for now... I followed all preventive in Casa... they did change my injectors during my 60T check up (free of charge). which i felt was not needed (mas natatakot ako kung galawin)

I have been checking this forum for "future" problem but for now still reliable and still hoping.

map light and antenna tho was replaced (which i paid) but i figured wear and tear na lang yun... also replaced leather in steering wheel (seatmate).

I would still bring my car to Baguio with confidence...
