Me too! I would like to share my experienced… Actually we have similar scenario but this time, mine in vice versa because I was driving a 1.8 A/T Honda Civic when this Santa Fe was flashing its lights to overtake me. We are actually cruising at speeds not less than 120kph as this is my cruising speed when using NLEX when driving back home every Friday. Of course I wouldn’t give up without a fight so I pushed the accelerator pedal quite hard… At first the Santa Fe is staying at my back but when we reached 150kph, then I started pulling away (150kph plus) and to my surprised, I already reached 200kph+ when I looked at the rear mirror the Santa Fe was so far behind…

Back to topic… My top speed using a Hyundai was 140kph in a TCI Starex.

flashing your headlight is not really a good practise lalo na sa gabi. ako madali ring ma hyblad sa mga ganoon. this happened to me once sa may nlex viaduct going to manila. it was already past 9 pm so wala nang truck ban kaya pila na ang mga trucks sa slow lane. i was in the fast lane ang may isang hinayupak na crosswind na nag fla-flash sa likod ko. alam na ngang wala akong pupuntahan tuloy tuloy pa rin ang pag flash. dahil hindi naman ako pwedeng magmabilis pa pumunta na ako sa slow lane at pinagbigyan ko na. punta ako ngayon sa likod niya at ako naman ang nag flash sa kanya. pansin ko na lang huminto na siya sa pag flash sa nasa unahan niya. grrrr kakainis!

30,000 kms pa lang mileage ko pero palit na ako ng gulong. kabado kasi ako sa OEM tires eh dahil laging long drive at high speed patakbo ko sa Santa Fe.
