August 8th, 2016 11:33 PM #11if i recall right, the insurance will honor coverage of any accident for as long as the person driving it at that time has a valid license, and that he was authorized by the planholder to drive the car.

That's ridiculous. It shouldn't matter if you have a pro or non-pro license. My brother had a pro license and that was not an issue.
Maybe the agent is giving you a hard time because technically you are really supposed to be denied the claim.
You shouldn't have told you agent the real story

Naikwento mo na pala eh kaya for sure denied na yan...
Charge to experience na lang and have it repaired sa talyer... kuhanan mo rin ng pambayad yung driver na nagtakas ng car para lesson learned for him.
He has to man up and ne responsible for his actions

Silly of you to tell the story to your insurance broker ... you could've asked here first ... almost like a brother but then steals your car to go out for a joyride

I think TS is referring sa SA niya sa casa? Tama ba?
Ganyan din ako nung newbie everything I think is concern ng SA hehe
Nabentahan ka na, tapos na role niya sayo.
Pero if insurance agent nga yan eh aba tapos na nga ang claim mo
Complete the requirements, ipasa sa insurance.

August 9th, 2016 08:55 AM #16He is a freelance agent from any car dealer, not directly from insurance company. He is a HS classmate of mine. So first thought to asked help from him.
I asked several acquaintances and they told me it is okay as long as the one who damaged the car have a DL.
Ask ko na lang since don't know how pa ko. Dalhin ko ba yung sasakyan sa casa kung san ko nakuha sasakyan ko then sila na magfile na claim?
Thanks for replies btw.Last edited by TendouRyuu; August 9th, 2016 at 09:15 AM. Reason: additional info.

In my case I submitted all the requirements to the casa since my insurance is in house.
I gave them my affidavit (own damage) and copy of my driver's license and insurance. Then they took pictures of the damage.
My agent called me when my LOA was ready and that was when I brought my car to the casa.

August 9th, 2016 10:54 AM #19*TS: Eto nakalagay sa paper ko. I think standard naman ito sa lahat ng car insurance.
AUTHORIZED DRIVER:
Any of the following:
(a.) the insured
(b.) Any person driving on the Insured's order or with his permission
