September 10th, 2010 07:25 AM #12sino sa atin ang naka deflector security plate cover, yung me hyundai na logo?
have one installed sa casa, pero maingay pag nalulubak ng husto.
did you put double sided tape between the plate cover and your car? or can you bend the plate cover, inclined upwards, so the cover doesn't touch the car during humps? what did you do to eliminate the noise?
thanks in advance for your help. the noise is really annoying.

September 15th, 2010 10:06 AM #14rear. i found the source of the rattling noise.
it is the stainless frame rubbing against the car at its the top side. the assembly is attached by 2 screws at the top side. i removed the steel frame with hyundai logo and the clear cover, and the noise is gone. i just retained the back plastic plate. the steel frame protrudes when attached to the back plastic plate, so it touches the car first during humps.
maybe i need to put washer or tape between car and the assembly to widen the gap. but right now ok din na walang cover, kasi sa harap lang naman palaging nayuyupi. hindi rin madali nakawin yung plate number sa likod kasi iba yung screw nya.
thanks.

Good to know your problem is somewhat solve
I thought your problem is due to loose bolts kaya may rattle. Did you tried tighten the bolts? I have mine replace with Hex type bolts with counter nut and I put 1/4 thick tempered glass cover. The glass itself is heavy kaya I have to extra tighten the hex bolts. I also did it in my front license plate
