K&N filter including installation is Php 5250...

    part # RC-3870

one thing I like about open type filters is when you step on the gas you hear that wonder growl (air being sucked in)...

Thats a shor ram intake. I have tried to put that kind of system on my E36 before but eventually took it out and returned it to stock. Indeed, it makes a nice growl when you step on the gas, but what I noticed is that there is a considerable drop in power especially during heavy traffic situations, since that engine bay heats up and the air being sucked by the exposed airfilter is of lesser density than that when it has an airbox. But then again its was just mu experience and is highly debatable and has been going on for years, cold air intake vs short ram intake vs drop-in.

I have had short ram filters for all my cars, the first was a lancer, then my civic SiR, and now my SF. I have not noticed any power loss (maybe that's just me), but I did notice better reponse and a little more torque...

    Sir valskie it's 881 (27watts)
not advisable to change with aftermarket bulbs(hotter)....
it will melt the reflector of the foglamps in the long run

Hello po Sir Valskie! Tama po si Sir C190 na its not advisable to change with aftermarket bulbs except kung napundi na ang foglight.

Mas mabuti pa rin palitan with the same type of bulb or if you like, ipa-HID na lang po ninyo tulad nang ginawa namin.

At least di po kami nag-aalala na masusunog yung reflector ng foglamps. Just my two cents po.
