    1 & 2 - 0kmh
    3-35-45kmh
    4-55-60kmh
    5-65-70kmh

ideally, para makatipid ka sa diesel, ang ginagawa ko, limit my rpm to 1800-2000rpm.

pag 1800rpm, 5th gear, ang speed ay nasa 110-120kmh. pag 2000rpm, mga 150.

NOTE: after mo mag-sportronic, balik mo agad sa D para di sya mag-over-rev when you forget to shift-up at masayang fuel.

Hi guys am a newbie here and this is my very first post. Please allow me to share with you my arduous journey in selecting the perfect SUV within my budget of 1.5M.

Like most of you here, the Fortuner was my first choice and even reserved a unit already. Good thing the black color was not available in the dealer I approached so I had to wait for availability. I came to my senses and cancelled my reservation after test driving my bayaw's unit and experienced the Fort's unfulfilling ride.

Second on my list was the new CRV, which I was a bit hesitant on getting to begin with but felt this was the only available choice at that moment. I also reserved a unit due to the long waiting period (estimated release on Oct.) while shopping for an alternative.

After learning of this forum and after reading through some pages, I was inclined to check out and test drive the Santa Fe last Friday. Lo and behold, I understood what all you guys have been raving about the Fe. The Korean badge was what turned me off in the first place and why I didn't even give the Fe a fighting chance. The 5 yr warranty made me curious and prompted me to investigate what this new found confidence Hyundai had for its cars. The reviews are spot on and test driving the unit made me respect Hyundai for it's quality ride as well as its design aesthetics. I went to a dealer earlier today and will be closing the deal on Tuesday for a Superior Red 4x2 CRDI Santa Fe. This would be the first Korean car anyone in my family has ever bought and I'm thrilled to demo the unit to them once it arrives!

I've gained a wealth of knowledge reading through these pages and this discussion has been very enlightening to say the least. I'll try to read back as far as I can to get more information about the Fe. Thanks to all the contributors and more power!

Congratulations on your choice! Your observations sums up everything we experienced before going for the SF. There was no thread like this before with extensive reviews and raves of the SF when we bought our unit. Glad this thread is of big help on your decision. Keep threading

Good morning to evrybody. Although this is my very first post in any thread, I am not new to tsikot.com. I've been a member for more than a year already and read through a lot of threads. I've also sold two cars in this site and both were in record time (posted the first day and sold the next day), thanks to tsikot.com.

Just like *******ino, we were not considering SFwhen we decided that it's time to buy a new car, although I fell in love with it when I first saw it in the showroom last year. Among the candidates were fortuner, CRV, and the new mitsubishi fuzion. But then somebody told us "Why not look into the Santa Fe? It's a very good SUV." Suddenly, my love at first sight with SF came alive and I got so excited that I immediately scanned this site for SF reviews until I found this thread. I followed this thread for two weeks from first post to the end and from what I read I became more and more convinced to get the SF, until we closed a deal with Hyundai Alabang a week ago and brought home our unit yesterday. WOW! I can't believe I'm driving the one a really wanted in the first place. I couldn't have made a better choice.

Thanks to all of you guys who made this thread. It's definitely a BIG HELP.

By the way, we got the gun metal color and it looks so good. Thanks again.
