November 12th, 2014 03:16 PM #101my eon is less than one month since bagong bili. just 2 days ago i have problems with the compressor. it started to click on and off fast while idling, so meaning no cooling during idle. pinadala ko sa north edsa and nawala. today, ganun din, but nawala agad. so conclusion. NOT RELIABLE

Yup. You have a point sir.

March 17th, 2015 01:40 PM #105i10 1.1 A/T; *60000kms, front stabilizer link was already replaced c/o warranty.
My experience with claiming warranty was not so good... They will not give regular updates. I have to call them every week for status updates. Feb. 04 when they told me that the stabilizer link have to be replaced. My SA told me that processing takes 1 to 2 weeks. I called them back Feb. 13, they told me that the warranty claim was approved. I called them Feb. 20, they told me that they were still waiting for the part to arrive. I did not called from Feb. 23 - Mar. 10, I received no update from Hyundai during that time. I called them on Mar. 11, they told me that the part is already there and asked me to schedule the installation. Have it installed Mar. 12. Surprisingly, on Mar. 13, Hyundai texted me that the stabilizer link for my i10 have arrived and adviced me to call to discuss my preferred service schedule...

2009 Hyundai Tucson cvvt.. 85k odo.. Replaced alternator, paint touch up.. Sadly, sold it last month.. Never really had any bad experience with my Tucson nor did it conk out on me..
Except when the battery had to be replaced (more than 2 years na din kasi [emoji23])..
Nasagi na din ng jeep, sumabit sa railings, orange barriers sa SM malls and sa gate namin (Bagito pa Lang and brother ko sa pag drive [emoji23]).. And all I got were just light scratches on the pain.. Absolutely no dents whatsoever.. Matigas talaga kaha ng Tucson [emoji123][emoji106]

2011 GS stab link shot at 36TKms. A/C cooling down to around 1/2 when new despite just being serviced less than 1 year ago. Leather wrap on the steering wheel has peeled off.
2013 Tucson with 26TKms on it has rear brake pads worn to around 10% thickness. Front brake rotors have worn 2 mm already despite not being used in hilly areas. A/T has "sumpong" sometimes, gear indicator would disappear from the MID and would not shift.
I hope the newer Hyundais are better. The ones we have aren't so bad at reliability but build quality/durability is certainly less than most Japanese brands.
