It's not because of the ethanol..
Mas madumi parin ata ang unleaded gasoline natin dito.
Tsaka AFAIK mahal din maintenance ng GDi..

ah ganun ba yun? kasi AFAIK with the other brands kaya nagkaron ng memo for GDI engines because of the newly launched ethanol additive at that time...I remember back then na kakapasa lang nung biofuels law na yun when the memo was circulated...
well, siguro thats another engineering marvel na naman for hyundai...

More gastos.

We're after the car, not the dealer. ;)
Haha

Based on the manual computation for the FC during the break-in period, 6.3 km/l with EDSA traffic, according to my dad as he is the one always using it. I'm now guessing that its city driving FC is better after the 1000 km PMS, maybe around 6.7-7.0 km/l.
Super satisfied talaga! And btw, I'm seeing more Sonatas on the roads nowadays. I'm predicting that in a few months, maraming Sonata na on the roads of Metro Manila. Maybe it might overtake the Camry and the Accord. But that's only a wild guess of mine.
You're absolutely right Renzo. GDi is not yet proven to be reliable here in the Philippines. Kaya wala pang carmaker ang naglalabas ng GDi engines nila dito kahit meron na sa ibang bansa kasi they are not sure if the GDi engines they have can survive the dirty unleaded fuel that we have. If I were you SG, go for the HARI Sonata. At least they have the Remington Red now, even in the Premium variant.
