March 28th, 2012 02:34 PM #9851. Offset & Lug Pattern - Ideally have the same offset para hindi masyadong pasok or labas yung rims (will encounter rubbing issues while steering). Lug pattern and distance between lugnuts should be the same para fit.
2. Rim width - Masyadong makapal - same issue as above while steering lalo kapag sinagad yung manibela.
3. Overall diameter - Diameter of the stock rim + tire should ideally be the same as the new rim + tire combination. Meaning, if you increase the rim size by 1" diameter, the new tire must be 1" thinner at the sidewall. Switching to lower profile rims will have negative effects on ride comfort. Using a different combination of tire/rim sizes may result in suspension issues as well as inaccurate speedometer readings.
4. Rim + Tire weight - the heavier the total rim + tire combination compared to stock, the more fuel the car will consume as more effort is needed to overcome the inertia of a heavier object.
5. Cost of tire - Larger rim diameters will require more expensive tires. Ang tires for a 13-16" rim can be lower than 5k / tire, but same tire for an 18" rim will cost nearer to 8-10k / tire.Last edited by mda; March 28th, 2012 at 02:36 PM.

ICE = In Car Entertainment. Even a stash of FHM in the back seat qualifies as ICE. hehe
Seriously. Try the folks at Kotseaudioclub.com . They have been a great help to me even now that I'm still a newbie to in car entertainment.

TIA

March 28th, 2012 04:19 PM #990What is the stock size and offset of your existing rims? Ano offset ng bago?
See my post above regarding the Offset and Rim Width. I think this applies to you.
Kung nagpalit ka ng rims, most likely wala na ang warranty ng suspension, even if the rims came stock from another vehicle of the same model (i.e. yung rims ng Accent Blue ilalagay dun sa 1.4). AFAIK this applies for Honda and Toyota. Not sure about Hyundai.
