Btw guys, what batteries do you have on your GSs?

I'm due for a battery replacement within the next few days, prior to our Baguio trip toward the end of next week. The Motolite Gold I had to buy in Urdaneta (which is just barely past its 21 month warranty) is about to go. I've decided to try Amaron Hi Life, for which I've been getting good reviews. But I read something in the Amaron thread on this board that it had some issues cranking cars in cold weather.

Have tried AC Delco and GS/Panasonic on the Prado, and I'm happy with them, though they're at least P1K+ more expensive than the Amaron. Anyone tried them on the GS?

Try mo rin bro yung Global na brand. May mga kilala ako sa CSP yun ang gamit

Motolite gold sa akin, mag 2 years na ok pa naman.

Kahapon i noticed nagdi-dim yung clock and odo lights (head lights off) pag umapak ako sa brakes. I suspect my double contact tail lights have a short, buksan ko mamya bago masunog

Thanks for this. Will probably have this done outside the dealership kung mechanical work lang naman and relatively simple.

Buti pa yung sa iyo, ok pa. Mine's about to turn 24 months, pero medyo may delay sa pag-crank if not used for a day or two. According to the Metrobat guy, when he checked the battery, ok pa daw yung alternator, pero medyo mababa na daw yung reading nung battery.

Hmmm... come to think of it, also have something weird with my clock and odo. Pag bagong start, when I signal with the parklights off, no problem. Pero kapag matagal nang tumatakbo, when I signal, sometimes the clock and odo signal with them as well.

You can canvass, but I would bet they're much cheaper than casa.

No idea, i don't have time to check the voltage with the battery disconnected kanina. I found out 2 of the bulbs have the filament for the brakes already broken and causing a short somehow. I removed both bulbs and the dimming of the clock and odo disappeared. Next month ko na lang palitan once a week lang naman gamitin ang gs. Travelling tomorrow for malaysia e no time na to buy bulbs.
