^^^ The dreaded powertrain failure alarm - powertrain warning lamp, traction control and cel ON, limp mode, tranny shifts to 1st and 2nd gear only, and shift shock all together. Seems the problem is common to both ford ranger and bt50. Diagnosis is leaking turbo. Funny how a leaking turbo manifests itself like that. Palitan nila ng turbo, under warranty naman. Mag 1 week na siya sa casa tomorrow pero available naman ang part so makuha ko na daw within this week.

Sounds like a similar problem with our Club-mate's 3.2L Ranger WT. But Mazda's diagnosis is much quicker and more on-target. Ford's diagnosis is a much longer affair. Unfortunately, may downtime sa yo due to waiting for the parts, pero ok na din yun at least full warranty pa.

Naku! Yun din ang problema dun sa amin. Thankfully, the 18s I've had have some sort of lip protector kaya there were some scars that were averted, though we both have some souvenirs on the lips. Hahaha!
She did have the worst damage on one of the tires though. Somehow at sidewalk sliced through the thick sidewall till the steel belts were exposed. Scary!

Re: Fuel filter
Had ours replaced at 20,000 kms. Since sa gas station ginawa, fuel filter lang ang pinalitan. For my other rides, ganun din lang, fuel filter lang din.
