November 29th, 2008 09:04 AM #62Getz 1.1L engine, I thought I would be saving more on gasoline. I bought one thinking the smaller the engine the less it will consume fuel. I noticed this by comparing with my 1.3L Toyota Vios. Weekly we are travelling to our relative who is 80 km away where we sometimes use our 1.1L Getz, I realized that Getz is consuming more gasoline than our 1.3L Vios. Toyota is really fuel efficient, the same for Honda.
I suggest, before deciding to buy a car, to visit internet sites that reviews and compare cars. Hyundai is not fuel efficient and its dashboard is made of cheap material that for a few years becomes brittle and cracks. Its tires also is not durable and the spare tire, beware, for Getz, the size is smaller in diameter.

maraming factors kasi that affect fuel consumption.. tire pressure, load, weather, wind direction, driving habits, road condition etc.. actually nung nag-test ang c-magazine na reach nila is 38.7 km/l... which means pwede niyang maabot ang ganong consumption but not everyday ganun yung average consumption niya..
but personally, matipid talaga siya..i should know because nagpu-pull-out kami niyan sa stock yard and nagdedeliver sometimes.. yung 30kms/l na sinasabi mo is plausible but not everyday ganun..
