August 20th, 2016 10:17 PM #2Just to give you an idea, dun sa suking aircon shop ko gave it to me, surplus around 1400 to 1500. Most likely pag sa surplus shop ka bumili, mas mura konti.

Anong brand ng fan motor? Sanden or Denso?
Kunin mo model number nyan then tignan mo sa auto supply yung mga naka generic fan housing with the same brand of motor...
Ililipat mo lang motor sa old assembly...

August 21st, 2016 09:40 AM #4mahal ang brand new oem!
you might get a surplus one for much cheaper cost, but... it's surplus, po. it might fail next week or it might fail after 10 years.
compare prices of brand new and surplus, po. then decide.
when my old lancer's fan died, i didn't like the 8K they were asking for oem part. so what i did was to get a generic motor with housing for 900 bucks. the mechanic made a few kikils on my housing, at kumasya naman ang generic fan. after a year, ok pa naman.
btw.
i don't know how the honda electronics will perceive a generic fan motor.
i had no such problem with my 2003 lancer.Last edited by dr. d; August 21st, 2016 at 10:03 AM.
