    EG = 1993-95 ESI - Liked the engine very much. Rev happy car. Dash looks better than the bland EK's. Liked this model so much that we bought two units: 93 and 95 both ESI's.

    EK= 99-00 (updated look) - comfortable ride because of better suspension, where the esi would go "thak thak thak" on smaller potholes, the EK would go "thud thud thud", feels solid the sound. Although I feel this model suffered lots of cost cutting like the disappearance of the hydrolics from the trunk and the interior hood liner which were all present in the EG or Esi. Our unit's rubber lining near the windshield/roof is flimsy. I never liked the sound of the VTEC engine.

    ES= The updated look looks really nice. We never owned one and will intend to pass this model for the next model. I read something negative about its front suspension, which again was the victim of cost-cutting measures.

    Even the president of Honda last year in an interview, admitted that because of the front suspension issue, many of their target buyers flocked elsewhere. That's why they are concentrating on rectifying the problem for the '06 model. But disappointingly, so far this new model looks so butt ugly (sorry to say) and its quite near its lauch date in Sept '05 already.

    Honestly, I dont know the problem in details. When the model first came out in 2001, some enthusiasts were complaining of the "unsportiness" of the suspension. Hopefully a fellow tsikoteer who is familiar with this matter can shed some light on this issue.

    SiR. In those days ang daming nagsisi na mga VTi Owners. And Up to now may naghahanap pa ng SiR.

    madami pa rin...kung kumonti man eh di mas maganda kapag nakakakita ako ng alagang Formula Red eh parang gusto ko parahin yung may ari at tanungin kung kailan nya ibebenta iyon

    max ako yata muntik nang makabili ng black mo noon...oct 2000 din ba yung sa iyo? yung walang emblem sa likod at taga cavite ang may-ari? ikaw ba iyong na meet ko with Alvin Tarrosa?

    hmmm Hindi ko na matandaan eh pero did we meet up sa alabang?

    Pero 2 lang tumingin eh. Yung isa very interested kaya lang nabbanga ako that night na gustong kunin ang auto. Kaya hindi ko na tinuloy. (Yupi ang trunk)
