Checked the manual last night and it was indeed written there under parking we should idle for 10 secs before turning off the engine. [emoji3061]

And it doesn’t matter how long and fast you drive, right? As long as you idle it by 10 sec.

If you have a turbo car, I suggest to let it idle a bit more if driven hard or after a long drive.

Went to fill up the CRV earlier toning and did a little grocery. Grabe ang hirap mag idle ng 10 seconds pag nagpark na.

Bakit walang kasing nilagay na turbo timer kung kailangan talaga mag idle pa

I just let it idle while I collect and arrange my things in the cabin or read through messages I received and ignored while I was driving before I go down. That takes 15-20 secs at least. I also use this time to flush the AC a bit (compressor off, high fan setting) once in a while.

Kailangan ba talaga gawin everytime mag park? Wala ba safety mechanism yan? Dahil I still here something is still running when I shut off the engine and listen to the engine bay. Baka ginagawa na ng turbo yan sarili.

I'm assuming we only do this pag matahal mag park pero pag let's say mag pa karga ng gasolina hinde na kailangan.

And how long before the turbo breaks down if I don't do it?

The Forester XT comes with a turbo timer, the same with the WRX and Levorg.
