I have not test driven the new CRV but most would say the previous generations of the CRV ride soft. The Forester has a firmer suspension. Subies are known for their good handling and their AWD system is one of the best. I have the Forester XT and it drives like a big car on steroids - lots of grip, lots of power on tap, and nimble enough for its size.

Ang ganda ng dashboard, tapos naka leather seat na yung CRV unlike the 2.0iL Forester variant. I find the Forester's 2.0i-L's dashboard kinda outdated. And according to the Subaru dealership (Greenhills and BGC), they highly recommend 95 to 98 octane for the Forester.
Only the Forester XT with the turbo engine requires 95RON fuel minimum.

It will be more like 2019. If a new platform has been introduced, the US folks have gotten it already. They usually get their next year model around October of the current year.

Correct ka dyan. Pang limahan lang yung Forester.

honda didnt anticipate the demand. 200-300units per month allocation is too low...

Sir Egan101, the dealership specifically suggest (actually the way they told me "require" is the appropriate term) to use 95-98 octane whatever variant of Forester. Pati nga yung XV, ganun din sabi nila. Just want to ask, which variant of Forester do you use? And do you use 91 octane on it?

The new XV uses an upgraded FB20 engine (higher compression) and thus the need for 95RON, as per folks from SFX community. The non turbo Foresters are OK with the usual unleaded gasoline, as per global specs of the FB20. I have to check with owners of non-turbo Foresters if the local owners manual states the need for 95RON fuel (paging dreamur!!!).

I have the Forester XT, turbo model. 95RON is the minimum. Motor Image does not suggest continuous use of much higher RON as the the fuel mixture might be running too rich. Most other turbo cars requires 95RON, like my Fiesta Ecoboost. The Civic 1.5T though requires a minimum of 91RON.
