dunno why but in las pinas they're a pretty common sight
based on experience. mas problematic parin ang civic vs the market leader. casa repair/maintenance cost nearly twice. fuel consumption is worst. I got stalled in the highway several times using the FD. Consumers lost confidence over these issues
actually i'm more wary of our crdi suv w/c we acquired late last year brand new. w/ the need to have clean diesel on it all the time, i'm a bit anxious of bringing it out-of-town lest it consumes contaminated fuel which may eventually open a whole problematic can of worms down the road

August 3rd, 2013 01:10 PM #62Sorry O.T., *ser Baludoy if its a local release of Hyundai/Kia CRDi then u shouldnt have to worry coz they'r all EURO2 spec. If its KDM yeah better avoid loading regular fuel. If its another.make thats another story. Hehe... Anyway heard first hand storyfm FD owner na he had lots of problem with his FD.... Noisy AC conpressor.bearing, poor Alternator power, etc.

^ Ayun, bearing din pala. Nasira rin yan sa FD ko, around 75T Kms ata bumigay bearing ko. Engine support around 55T Kms. Handbrake mga ganun din.
