    Well, hindi naman excuse yun.

"No read no write" is a bit too strong a term to use nga lang, although gets naman namin what you really mean to say. When they hear things like that, instead of realizing the error of their ways, they just get defensive- inaapi, minamalilit, and dinuduro-duro ang feeling nila so they play their paboritong "poverty, hirap ako sa buhay" trump card that they (wrongly) think allows them to get away with anything.

Alam naman ng kahit sinong normal na tao na ang pagiging balasbubas ay mali. Hindi naman kailangan nakapagaral para malaman yan kasi common sense yan and part ng pakikisama sa ibang tao that one learns one way or another, if they want to live long sa mundo, so hindi excuse yun na di sila aral. K*pal behavior is k*pal behavior. Wag dapat silang ganun.

Nagpa sundo si PNP chief from his vacation from Balesin Island using PNP chopper. Yun nga lang hindi na sundo dahil nag crash ang chopper at namatay isang sakay nito.

I assume this is a legit use of government assets pero it leaves a bad taste.

    Ulyanin or stupid lol
That's crossing the train tracks, barrier comes down and he stopped on the tracks thinking that's the correct thing to do haha

But news on that is the bridge operator got fired. Independent naman pag operate ng barriers and bridge, he's supposed to close the barriers, and only raise the bridge after confirming no one is on it so this incident was a big fail on the operator's part. Of course ibang usapan if an idiot drives onto an already raised/rising bridge.

Lantana bridge tender terminated after drawbridge raises with car on it

Still a lot of comments here are placing part of the blame on the motorist himself, suspecting some kind of fraud might be involved.

    questions.

the motorista stopped there... what for?

the bridge operator says she did not see the car.
just looking at the video, i am wondering, "how come?"
if the location of the control room is that bad, should it not have been repositioned at a more strategic position?

I guess the issue here is twofold.

One of the issue is with the one they call the tender, yung tagataas ng barricade at ng drawbridge, at yung safety procedures in place.
There are problems exemplified with this incident and the death of an elderly pedestrian earlier. She fell off another bridge when it went up with her on it.

Then there's the issue with this particular motorist and his baffling behaviour.
For what reason bakit niya kailangan tumigil doon mismo sa pivot ng drawbridge?
If we look in his front, kasyang-kasya pa siya doon kung umabante lang siya ng konti.
Well, no word from the unidentified victim so all are speculations right now.
