Under the build-own-opearte scheme, Stradcom will finance, construct, own, operate and maintain the IT infrastructure for LTO for 10 years. Project cost will be recovered from the IT-based service fees collected for the use of the IT services. At the option of the government, the contract may be extended but the total concession period shall not exceed 50 years.
OT: By the way Stradcom will also facilitate the DFA's epassporting service.

then in that case stradcom should better be planning better in designing their database resources. the next thing you will see is a thread regarding delayed epassport processing.
so the computer fee is part of the service fee we are paying to stradcom? i don't think a measly 100+ bucks could cover a major part of the project expenses, even if there are thousnds paying for it. no wonder they're micing out on adding additional servers or improving their software. they could have additional sources, but i still don't buy that government would not shell out money for this. but that's my opinion.
still it doesnt look good for them. they better do something.
