baka nag advanced payment na yung nagpareserve sa slot kay carwash boy

    sabi ng nag pareserve:

"kuya bantayan mo yung slot na iyan wag mong ipagpark ibang sasakyan diyan. may babalikan lang ako."

"No standing on parking space" bill filed in Congress | Autoindustriya

Akbayan Party-list Representative, Percival Cendaña, filed House Bill (HB) 11076, or “An Act prohibiting any person from physically occupying a parking space to obstruct a motor vehicle from parking and providing penalties thereof.”
According to Rep. Cendaña, individuals who stand or loiter in parking lots can be subjected to up to PHP 10,000 in penalty, with the possibility of driver’s license revocation for repeat offenders.
parking establishments are mandated to implement parking rules and display the penalties in accordance with HB 11076, if it becomes a law. Failure by the parking establishment to display such can result in a fine of up to PHP 50,000.

Looked up the text of the bill. It specifically says "No person shall occupy a parking space" (emphasis mine) so I guess lusot pa yung cones and signs.

Thanks for sharing. Yes, it says no person shall physically occupy so cones and signs (which assumes the one placing the cones and signs had the authority to do so (e.g., they own the slot) are not covered. But do we really need this? Isn't this common sense?

common sense goes out the window, when we want to put one over the other.
