Message to Irresponsible Fog Lamp Users

nagtataka nga ako eh, yung iba nagpupumilit magkabit ng fog lamps sa auto nila. Ayos lang sana kung by default nakakabit na.

Sa paakyat ng Antipolo po pag around 3AM to 4AM ma-fog din. Kaya may silbi din ang foglamps ko. hehehe

How about naka patay ang headlight pero naka-on ang fog lamp? Okay lang ba sa inyo yun?

Since my vehicle (2006 Starex) isn't equipped with daytime running lights, is it all right to use the stock fog lights together with the position lights in lieu of DRLs if I am driving on a provincial highway?

My aim is to be more readily visible to oncoming motorists, especially those who might be planning to overtake at an inopportune time if they do not see my vehicle approaching.

I do that too with my Starex when driving on provincial highways pag medyo makulimlim o cloudy ang weather. Mas kita ka nga ng mga kasalubong mong mga sasakyan.

HID ang gamit ng iba d2 stin sa foglihts maganda nga tingnan pero nakaka silaw eh..

i agree, using hid for foglamps IMO defeats the purpose. subukan nga nilang gamitin yung foglams na 6000-8000k sa baguio at tingnan natin kung may makikita pa sila. actually using HID on foggy areas will actually worsen your viewing distance.

second the motion. hassle talaga mga naka fog lamps, lalo na yung mga xenon at hid.

third the motion, i really find it stupid to use HID or xenon on their foglamps, lalo na kapag hindi naka projector lens. yun kasi ang case kapag inuuna nila yung looks above functionality. sorry sa mga natamaan.

i use HID with levelling adjustment for my low beam, pero yellow lights for my high beam and yellower for the fog lamps which i rarely use.

sana naman dun sa mga naglalagay ng HID, try niyo munang tingnan ang kotse niyo sa harapan kung nakakasilaw ba(specially those with no projector lens). kung nakakasilaw, sana naman do something about it. it actually is totally uncool, and it just reflects the kind of person you are if you have total disprespect to the motorists infront of you.

lastly, i totally hate it when the cars behind you just fire up all their lights. minsan talaga di mo lang alam kung bobo lang talaga sila or talagang wala lang talagang pakia-alam. I don't use tint on my car kaya whenever a dumb as* glares with all his glory behind me, i slow down and let him pass, then fire up all my beams behind him (talk about immaturity), but i would just like him taste a dose of his own medicine.
