Pangarap niya cguro magkaroon ng land speed record on a stock car..hehe

Probably not that close to blowing up. Most 180-200hp cars can go over 130 mph anyway.
As it is, the speed camera may have been off a bit... but 140 mph plus is quite possible with a front-wheel drive V6. That's why most of them have 135 mph speed limiters.
Maybe the cheap rental ones don't have the limiters installed?

Hmm. Damn traffic cameras. Back in '01, I did 120mph on a rental Sebring. Kakatakot na noon, the fabric top sounded like it was gonna rip off.

if it's a M/T mated to the V6... that's possible given clear roads, no head/cross winds, no uphills...
