If he put that in front then he will eventually be flagged down. He might even get in trouble with " checkpoints " at night.
At worse, the offense can be considered : Vandalizing the License Plate. At the very least, it is illegible plates.
I have seen at least one who "erased" the "MATATAG NA REPUBLIKA" on the bottom part but retained the rest.
I think its easy to remove the paint using thinner.
This is not about "Feeling nasa Europe". I believe no country would allow illegible vehicle plate numbers on properly registered vehicles. Unless there are other motives, even then, there is no need to deliberately conceal the letters and numbers on the plate. They are there to identify the vehicle.

yung mga fresh from the casang mitsu ba yung nakikita kong parang euro plate? yung dealer plates nila style euro.

toyota global city, euro theme, blue sa left, yellow sa right. Kaso yung akin napunit sa tagal ng kahihintay ng plate. Dapat binili ko na nung plate cover na pang euro nung una pa lang.

Ever since hindi ko maintindihan ang reasoning kung bakit naglalagay ang isang tao ng euro-plate, pero ang kotse nya nandito sa Pilipinas.
Almost lahat na kotse ko euro, pero ni minsan hindi ako naglagay or bumili ng europlate para sa mga yun. Ang mahal pa nun!
