If I cannot find any of the slot types mentioned above, then I follow these criteria:
- Avoid parking next to vehicles that you suspect would be bringing a lot of people (e.g. family cars). Family cars have KIDS. The more kids they have, the more likely those kids will be malikot and will ding your car. Family cars with KIDS are likely to have YAYAs who are worse than kids when it comes to opening car doors.
- Avoid parking next to dilapidated, dirty cars. If their owners don't take care of their cars, then chances are they won't even give a damn if they ding your car.
- If you find a nice clean dent free car, then park next to the driver's side. Malamang the driver is maingat, and will avoid denting your car.
PERO I just avoid going to malls pag alam kong puno na yung parking at ubos na yung mga premium slots.

lupit, tindi ng galit, may mura pa. ilang beses na sigurong napagsabihan yung owner or may sign na "No Parking", park pa din sya. kala ko sa abroad lang nangyayari yan. :D mas matindi yan kesa na-tow.
