    Surprised that they just adopted John the Baptist as their patron saint. All the while I thought he was, because the city was named after him. Or maybe it was a different John, one of the gospel writers? Anyway maybe the made John the Baptist their patron saint to justify this practice? And once it has religious undertones, mas malabo na cancel yung practice na yan.

    I was also surprised na ngayon lang!
