May 5th, 2016 03:23 PM #21Last two weeks nabangga din ako ng armored truck, Dasia Security agency. Binigyan lang kami ng copy ng ORCR and drivers license and contact number nung office nila, nag file na ako ng police report, then I sent thru email, including pictures and estimate ng damages. For a couple of days nakakausap ko pa sila, then after a 2 weeks di na sila sumasagot. Ano po next step ko na dapat gawin? Pwede po ba TPL gamitin? thanks

May 5th, 2016 03:42 PM #22TPL does not apply. it applies only to injuries sustained by 3rd party.
file a criminal case reckless impudence resulting to damage to property against the driver. pagawa ka ng affidavit sa police at i-file mo sa prosecutor's office.
every person criminally liable is also civil liable. the civil liability of the driver consists of the damage you sustained to your car and other consequential damages you have suffered.

Or do I have to wait a certain period of time, kung mag rereply sila sa akin? Or need na talaga mag file since wala naman talaga ako mapapala dun sa Security Agency nila? Pasencya mga sir, first time kasi ako ma involve sa ganitong mga banggaan. Thanks

I was hit by an armored vehichle a few months ago in BGC. The armored vehicle hit my left rear fender.
A very long day but I was able to get the amount I wanted for the damages. I had their armored vehicle and the driver on hold at Taguig Traffic Bureau until they settle the amount.
They hit my car at 10:30am, settled at around 8:30pm. Paid 5k for repairs, 1k for meals at Market Market for the whole day, gave 5k to the wifey as her share and left me with some, just enough to cover a few days of loss income.

August 10th, 2016 07:14 PM #28it is common knowledge that these armored trucks suffer from diminished visibility and reduced maneuverability.
but instead of practising safe driving, like slower driving, these armored car drivers actually throw the responsibility of safer driving and avoidance techniques, to us-the-other drivers!Last edited by dr. d; August 10th, 2016 at 07:37 PM.
