Here is a pic of my meters when i last took a ride to Batangas Race Circuit. This speed was attained via a stock Civic Sir at Startollway. Was 22kph short of my record time at startoll.

Here is my civic trying the 3rd corner (Downhill) of the race track at 130kph. We do this turn at 170kph when on our race bikes. I should say stock Lancers will kick the Civics when it comes to attacking the corners.

Another shot of the tacho when doing the startollway craze ( was trying to beat my 220kph from a previous run) .....the steering wheel is very light, the road bumpy and the heart says------> tama na. Hehehehe.

hmm, 222 ang SiR stock? pero 210 ang limiter, diba? hehehe... whichever way, dat's faaast.
Umuulan ba o malamig? Usually, your top speed is about 10-20kph slower if the air is cold (higher air resistance).

Limiter????.......are you refering to rev limiter or speed limiter?
I use superbike racing oil on my civic.....it gives a higher rev range and more acceleration power as compared to ordinary or so called racing oil for cars.:nerd:
As for "pedal to the metal" motto , flooring the pedal to the metal does not necessarily give you speed. A rider/driver should know what rpm, gear level and timing he should be at to attain the maximum output of his vehicle.
A good electrical grounding can also be of good help at the top end of the power band of your vehicle.
I'll try to post again if we have another run at star tollway. Racing season has just ended and will be back again April next year.
Cheers and ride safely.:D
