Going above 180kph, a bike will need steering dampers, a relaxed body and a very alert mind, a firm and rock hard decision of what to do's.:D
You can blast your way to 100kph in 2-4 secs.;)

Putting NOS sa big bikes is not required at this time, maybe in the near future when we have good quality roads. But we have heard undebones/scooters trying NOS and ended up busting their engines.
A 1000cc bike can go as fast as 400kph....but few would get to this speed as a lot of factors can get you into trouble. Bumpy roads, crosswinds, steering wobbles, unusual road traffic.
Batangas Racing Circuit can only accomodate a 250kph max out before approaching a turn.
Re Biker Boys and Torque Movie.......90 percent of the action shots are camera tricks.
Example is the fast ride. Riding at a speed starting at 40kph pataas would require a closed helmet----
1.Biker Boys open face helmet ang gamit. Your eyes would close and get teary-eyed.
2.Remember the race of the King of Cali against his son......a road bike will not and cannot run on loose dirt and gravel. Then yun stopping distance nila sa finish line...too short. You will need a 150 meters buffing zone for stopping coming from a 250kph plus speed.
3.Yun sa Torque, if you can recall the road bikes coming from the highway then nagpunta sa desert.....observe the bikes...pang motocross yun gamit nilagyan lang ng fairings (Body Mold) nun pang big bike.
But much safer pa rin sa four wheels!!!

(OffTopic) Yah... it tripped me out when they had the whole ridiculous bike chase scene in MI2... when they got the sports bikes out to the beach, their tires "miraculously" changed to motocross tires. It was hilarious.

September 27th, 2004 03:49 PM #120on the race/sport bikes of 600 cc and above, its not the power that will determine top speed and acceleration, patigasan na yan ng balls ng driver
yup, when i rode a moto cross bike without glasses/shades, mahirap magmaneho, masakit sa mata.
