mag H&R ka nalang or eibach... european brands tend to retain the OEM ride and are known for a more comfortable ride.

H&R or Eibach ang choice ko sa lowering springs lang. Eibachs installed dito is $300.00.

mga Aug 27 lahat nung latest post.
R1 coilover sleeve types suck. hindi parepareho spring rates nun. Kung gusto nyo talagang ok ride feel get the real deal coilovers not the conversion sleeve type.
Sa totoong coilovers kasama na yung damper nun. Problem is masyado mahal to. Mas ok na lang Branded lowering spring and shock combo.

September 3rd, 2003 12:25 PM #19spazz,
decent springs are your best bet, imho. hindi ka sasayad with a1.5in drop (on most springs). the european brands are just right, they retain the oe comfort. kung namamahalan ka sa h&r and eibach, try jamex (afaik 8k set). sayang pera mo with those r1's its just for show.
on a friend's 95 xl na naka 185/65r14 na oe mags, 2 finger gap ang naiwan front and rear. angat yung front ng konting-konti (mm lang naman). the ride is just right, kahit puno (of course a bit stiffer than stock but comfortable). hindi maselan sa mga ramps and humps. hth bro.

September 5th, 2003 07:09 AM #20Anything to watch out for a 3" drop? I am thinking of lowering my car mga 2-3". Ok naman road dito so far...alang masyadong humps and alang lubak.
Medyo mahal nga ang H&R and Eibach..pero sa Ebay medyo mura lang naman. Mahal lang pa install $200.
Spring lang ba ang kailangan sa paglower ng car? Hindi na ba papalitan iyong shocks?
