Actually kahit mabasa ng tubig hindi naman.
Last years flood "milenyo" madami sa neighbors namin nabasaan ng ECU. Some removed the batteries some did not. (Ako I removed)
Sa tatlong Ive talk to walang nagpalit ng ECU. This things can now be fixed I believe. Alamin mo lang kung sino dapat lapitan.
Pete,
Good Service nga iyang Honda MAnila, pati yung Inhouse Malayan Insurance guy diyan, mabait. Siya nagasikaso ng TotalWreck Claims namin even though sa Cavite Malayan namin kinuha ang policy.
Plus nakakapasok ako sa service Area nila. I even went sa Engine Room nila

actually kahit na lampas ka na sa warranty you can still claim that, as to our experience with my father's 03 altis is nabutas yung gastank at nagleak, so dinala sa casa sa toyota shaw. sabi ng mga tao dun ay di na covered ng warranty since lamaps na kami ng a month or two yata then my father questioned them na, so ganito quality ng gas tanks niyo 4 years lang ang life span then mabubutas na, we had an 89 corolla and after 17 years of using it and selling it, it never had a problem like that. so kinuha nila yung altis then after 2 days ay pinabalik kami at pinalitan nila yung gas tank. imagine they are asking for 17k to replace a gas tank na mabilis magbrittle sa isang part at mabutas ng ganun lang, after that hindi na tumawag samin yung toyota para maningil ever since kahit lampas na sa warranty period namin pinagawa yon.questionable yung pagkasira nun. i hope the same thing happens to you where honda will replace your gearbox for free as well. if i'm not mistaken a/t gearbox's lifespan is around 10-15 years depending on usage.

August 13th, 2007 08:15 AM #14170kphlang- nothing was replaced, ayos ang ecu, ung switch lang sa ibaba ang tumabingi kaya hindi makapag padala ng signal sa ecu. actually kung ecu nga ung sira, the paperworks for warranty extension was already prepared and waiting to be filed, good thing hindi na umabot doon. But I am seriously thinking of writing the owners of honda alabang/shaw/magallanes a letter to complain about the quality of their service. I cant help but feel they are in the business to make money first, then help customers, which is the opposite of what I felt honda manila is doing. kung may malasakit ka sa customers mo first, the business will just come in.

Naku, yung mga posts na ganito only serves to reinforce my belief na huwag masyadong magtiwala sa kasa (pero actually, kuripot din ako, hehehe).
Anyway, nakakataba talaga ng puso yung mga mechanics na ganyan. They go the extra mile in serving the customer, at hindi palit-dito, palit-doon ang mentality.
OT: I didn't have my 96 Sentra serviced during the first 1k PMS. Pero yung mga walastik na warranty administrator, dinetach yung coupon for the 1k PMS, when I checked the car in for the 5k PMS. I later found out na nire-reimburse pala sila ng Nissan Phils. for the 1st 20kms. Nissan Commonwealth pala yung casa
