Damn, yung TDCi talaga ang habol ko eh. 163hp, 340Nm. Pwedeng-pwede sana iakyat sa bundok everyday.
Mas may chance kaya kung sa gray market importers na lang padaanin?

The newly launched 2012 Ford Focus 2.0 with GDi engine may claim better fuel efficiency but that still has to be seen for the local traffic conditions and fuel.
As for the Lancer EX, the 2012 Lancer EX offers a smaller 1.6L MIVEC engine which may give better fuel economy than it's 2.0L previous models.

Because it's cheaper and it's good enough for the Philippine market.
A lot of people complain that we always get underspeced cars especially when it comes to the drivetrain, but thing is, those who actually buy the cars don't give a damn.
Just look at the Fortuner 2.5G - slow engine, unresponsive 4AT, yet it sells like pancakes because it looks macho and seats 7. Rio 1.4 hatch - comparatively weaker engine that thinks its a 2.0 when it comes to fuel consumption, but still sells pretty well because it's got fancy toys.
Basta pogi at maraming features, pwede na. I've noticed that Mitsu's been banking on the latter with their current lineup, fitting even just the mid-range Adventure with a touch-screen LCD HU.
