am an Escape owner, i regret getting it. dami issues. i wont elaborate na.

are you particular about the looks and the storage capability? if people carrier lang talaga ang hanap niyo, maybe you can also take a look at the following:

haima 7
mitsubishi adventure
mitsubishi fuzion
suzuki apv
nissan grand livina
kia sorrento (7 seater manual)

most have automatic options.

if you're conscious about fuel mileage, a manual tranny should also be considered (given the need to sit 7). more often than not, nakikita lang naman yung fuel efficiency kapag 1-2 lang nakasakay sa car. also, a bigger car will more likely consume more fuel, even if walang nakasakay masyado.

...and I know a family who's had more than one. It really depends, maybe the problem is not a common issue.
