Ford diesels are relatively guzzly, but then again, they're 6 liters or more...

But I imagine even if the vehicle uses the turbodiesel V8, it's lighter than the heavy-duty pickups or the Excursion that use the engine, so it'd probably get 5-7 km/l on diesel. Which ain't that bad, considering the price of diesel.

And it's 325 hp and 500 ft-lbs of torque... untuned. Some of those bad boys produce over 400hp when you start tinkering with them...

Guys I have a xpe that I'm considering to install a LPG kit instead but I'm not sure if it's available locally or if anyone here had already try such.

But in other countries I read many Landcruiser with V8 4.7L engine was coupled with LPG kits.

I've seen a F150 converted to lpg. Since they have the same engine with the xpe, it should work. You have a choice of putting the tank in the trunk and loosing your trunk space or going with a torodial tank and giving up your spare tire.

Check in the work shop there is a very imformative thread about lpg conversions.
