July 27th, 2022 01:13 PM #13May issues na agad ang ranger.
Australians owners are complaining of tailshaft vibrations.
Rangers are great looking trucks, di lang talaga reliable.

Looks like early build issues. Supposedly affected only a small number of units (Australia is one of the first markets for the new Ranger). Some reports say only the V6 variants were affected, some say it also included some 4-cylinder variants.
Toyota has had issues too like the current gen (pre-facelift) Hilux's Brake Booster failure. I guess people just choose to forget it ever happened.Last edited by AG4; July 27th, 2022 at 07:41 PM.

July 27th, 2022 08:41 PM #16The difference is Toyota’s issue sa launch edition lang, while Ford reliability issue affected the production lifespan of the ranger. Abot hanggang Ranger raptor.

July 27th, 2022 08:52 PM #17Some owners have posted on social media about experiencing tailshaft vibrations in V6 models at speeds of between 40-80km/h.
Ford Australia claims the issue affects only a minor number of vehicles, and is contacting the owners it believes are affected.
A lot of times the issues also start with supplier sourced components, so you end up with defective batches beyond the control of the car manufacturer. People automatically assume all models of all years are always affected when there is a recall.Last edited by AG4; July 27th, 2022 at 09:02 PM.

I think, there were no known issues like that. Some early 4x4 Bi-turbo 10-speed models were recalled because of a possible transmission fluid pump gear failure. The fix was a TCM/PCM software update. I think this was the issue you mentioned that included the earlier Ranger Raptors.

This Ranger variant is interesting, a base XL manual transmission with four-wheel drive.
