March 10th, 2016 04:32 PM #1Do you guys have any stories with your after sales service with Ford? (Good or Bad)
I want this thread to be a place that we can all share our experiences with Ford. Hopefully Ford can see this and improve their after sales service!

March 10th, 2016 08:33 PM #2Ok naman. All my warranty claims for my fiesta and ranger t6 were approved. Siguro ive made about 8 warranty claims with value of over 150k pesos. Eg: tcm (bumigay after 5 years), bed liner ( naka angat, palit lahat), head unit module ( sira hazard button, pinalitan buong center panel), wiper cowl (tsb), power windows, injectors (may moisture) etc Hinde naman pinahirapan. Max waiting time one month i think for the bed liner. Ive tried subic, pampanga and makati. Makati mura. Pampanga home casa ko so mejo at home na din. Subic makupad.

April 26th, 2017 01:48 PM #3My Ford Fiesta had some problems:
1. Overheating when traffic
2. shuddering
Their first solution was to fix the overheating by making me buy some tubes, new thermostat and coolant worth 2,500, and a P500 for Gas, so they could test drive it. So I left my car there for a week. As for the Shuddering part pa daw siya ng warranty.
When I got back, safe to travel na daw. I drove my car to work (30 minutes away) and the thermometer sign went on again! (same problem), so I called the service center and told me to check the coolant level, which was below the minimum line. And told me to bring it back ASAP. I thought may leak lang. So I put water in the coolant, but didn't drain as fast as I thought it would.
**Concern #1 WTF did i pay for a coolant?
So I brought it back to Ford Pampanga again, I was late for my 9am appointment. Got there around 9:10am. I though okay lang siguro kahit last nako, late naman ako sa appointment ko. So I waited until 12, only to find out na "LUNCH BREAK MUNA AKO SIR, BALIK KA NG 1PM". Hindi pa ako inassist kahit na I was last in the line! And I was just supposed to leave my car.
a few days, pinaiwan ko nalang yung car. Then I got a call, upon removing the clutch slave, sira daw ito and cannot be used anymore. I have to pay another 21,000 PHP. Or else I have to have it towed if I want another service center to do it.
AND, They just need to clean my evaporator for the overheating issue.
**Concern #2: I drove my car in Ford Pampanga and then may gagalawin sila without my consent tapos sasabihin nila hindi na pwede ilabas yung car unless I pay 21,000.
**Concern #3: EH ANO YUNG PINAGBIBILI KO NUNG UNA? Lilinisin lang pala ang Evaporator?!
And now, they said all is fixed, except for the suspension, sira daw ang suspension. I need to have it fixed for 7,000 + 3,500 service. WHICH I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEM WHEN I LEFT IT THERE FOR 2 WEEKS.
Soooo.. There. hehehe. Car is a 2013 Ford Fiesta. All these just happened a few weeks ago. We have a Toyota, Suzuki and Hyundai. Ford has the worse Service.

Nakatunganga sa parking nila for almost a month!
Minadali naman pinadala sa workshop. After about 2-3 weeks, tumawag si service requesting na dalahin ang duplicate key at nawawala yung susi! Natapos naman, para di daw kakaba kaba, wag muna iparada kung saan while they will arrange for a new key.
Nang iuwi na, inspection na lahat. May kaunting hindi na naibalik sa dating anyo pero minor. Ang hindi ko gusto, ang natakbo lang ng odo ay about 40Km pero yung half-full tank na gas, nasagad!
After 2-3 weeks, tumawag ulit si service. "Sir, nahanap na namin ang susi!". WTF.

April 28th, 2017 04:16 PM #9my experience with Ford service
1. The stock installed continental tire cracked when it hits a pavement. I tried to claim warranty as I thought the impact is not that strong to cause damage. But that is not the issue, I left the tire at Ford BGC, they lost it.
2. I keep track of everything that's done in our cars through an app. So, I make sure what is written (in the service receipt is really done). I saw that tire rotation is listed in one of the services done, I inspected but it's not, the newly replaced tire is still at the same place. I confronted the SA about it, she apologized (hindi daw ginawa kasi low mileage naman). I said ok, just don't do it again because it messes up my records. Guess what, they did it again on one of the PMS, listed tire rotation when it's not actually done. So now, how would I know if all they listed in there is actually done.
3. I noticed that the trunk is wet one day, I observed and I thought there is a leak, possibly coming at the trunk door so I brought it to casa for observation. That was around 10 am. At around 3 pm I returned and saw my car parked near the service area. initially I thought they fixed it (promised time is 4pm I think), that was quick I thought. To my horror, the SA said they stopped at around 2pm and couldn't find anything. 2 things wrong here: (1) the car has been sitting there for an hour and they didn't call me. (2) there is water in the trunk, something caused it, service SHOULD find the source and not stop until they do,that's what I said. The SA had the nerve to tell me "yan lang ba ser ang gagawin namin maghapon, may iba pa kami customer". To which I answered, am I not a customer? FYI, I found the leak myself, it's coming from the tail light, apparently the seal is not doing it's job well anymore. It took me less than 1 hour to find the leak (that ford service can't)
Those experience, and several others (hahaba masyado tong post ko) prevented us from buying another Ford although I think the Everest is (I think) leading features wise, drive... among the PPV SUV.
I wanted to trust Ford again, but I just can't anymore. Other (brand's) casa is not perfect, but I just experienced the worst with Ford. Maybe I'm just unlucky ☺️
That's my story... just sharing
