I agree with this. Wolfgang is good, slightly better than Mamou, but I prefer Mamou for value for money. And I love Mamou’s truffle pasta and aglio oglio.

I’ve come to enjoy cooking steak at home though, I just buy from Santi’s and then pan seared with a cast iron skillet.

There’s also a dine-in branch of Santi’s in Rockwell. This is the best value for money steak place if you ask me. You just pay their normal steak price and add a paluto fee of around 300 I think. They also serve wine and pasta.

Medyo matagal lang service sa Santi's. magisa lang kasi yung chef and he (she) has to do everything by herself. Lady chef yung lagi ko naabutan dun.

IMO BOTH the guy and girl are WRONG. The guy should NOT have tweeted about this. It made the girl look bad. Buti sana if he posted it anonymously like in reddit or here in Tsikot. LOL! If I were the girl, I will NEVER speak to that guy anymore.

The girl naman, should have waited for the guy to give options (considering the location and cuisine she prefers) and make her choice or let the guy decide since he is paying! If I were the guy, I will not date her anymore if she doesn't know the basic rules of etiquette.
