    Yes of course, but rarely because it's too salty. I like it with red egg and tomatoes.

    Danggit coming from Bais .. Bais, Negros Oriental - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ... is not as salty as the ones being served in Manila restaurants (which came from all over) ......

    Way back before it became "mainstream", one can only get Danggit from the sea side towns of Negros Oriental.

    Super salty nga, kasi may kasama pa itlog na maalat.

    afaik there's a less salty variety of danggit -- i.e. "hinugas" sa tubig dagat, no additional salt added. Downside is that it's more susceptible to mold, so you need to keep it in the freezer.

    akala ko hinalo nyo sa carbonara sauce yung danggit. It could work though. hmm...

    Mali ata yung earlier post ko: the less salty danggit is washed in fresh water, the salty ones in salt water. It's been awhile but we bought some at Tabo-an in Cebu
