Of course... I've never been to Trinoma... so what do I care?

the restos in trinoma seem to be segregated according to levels... the ones at the lower levels seem to be in a lower range than the ones at the higher levels. of course, there's still the food court at the basement level, and some fastfoods at the lower levels around the activity center. the mid to high end ones are in the 3rd and 4th levels and seem to be away from much traffic, so unless you know where they are, they're pretty much difficult to find. so location and pricing must have something to do with this.

March 15th, 2009 12:07 AM #26Trinoma is the best shopping mall in QC (not too busy during weekdays, not too much jologs compared to SM City) but I think the biggest problem there is their lease rates are too high more than anything else. Of course their crowd isn't like Makati or Rockwell but you can still see many middle to middle high clients similar to SM MOA.
Ayala Land probably thought that since they were the only premier mall in northern Metro Manila, they could command Glorietta level rent.
I know a few shops there planning to close down after their lease expires so I hope Ayala fixes their rent soon...Last edited by ryan; March 15th, 2009 at 12:11 AM.

The persian restaurant Hossein is the latest to abandon ship. Only Casa Armas is left on its own. Not to worry. Kimpura will soon open in the vacant spaces which used to be Madison Grill, Hossein and Haiku. Also Tempura resto that will soon open beside La Maisson. That makes 4 Japanese restos in Trinoma.

March 15th, 2009 04:46 PM #29slight OT. it's not only Trinoma who's closing shops. go at Level 5 Megamall, halos sarado na lahat dun. and to think, Megamall magkakabakante, pero nangyayari na.
go at Level 2 Galleria Bldg. extension, halos sarado na lahat dun.
like I said before, the malls will become extinct dahil lahat kami young generation bumibili na sa internet/multiply, direct smuggler este supplier pa. pa-deliver pa P50++. i need not even go to HK to buy camera equipments (HK is the best place to buy cheaper dslr, camera equips). andyan lang sa Mandaluyong sila yun mga parang factory dun
ang kumikita ngaun LBC and others like it, and of course mga money padala as well as online padala like Gcash etc.
nun mataas ang gasolina, LBC and the like lang kumita why kasi nagtipid mag-travel ang mga tao
ngaun bagsak ang gasoline, guess who's earning more profit? LBC and the like kasi na -reduce nila more than 50% fuel expenses nila and the people already got used of transacting online
these are signs of the times that we can't ignore.
