Had a chance to try Fire Lake Grill at Clifhouse Tagaytay as suggested by smooth and margaux. Wow, the steaks are good! So are the salads. Price of a tenderloin steak (220 gms.) costs about P900 each, there's also the cowgirl steak which is prime ribeye (500 gms.) which costs P2,200, Salads are P200 to P300. A bit pricey but well worth it. Credit Cards are accepted.

For those in the know, is Firelake Grill as good as the original (Antonio's)?
To get to Gulliver's, you have to find Aberdeen Court. It's a hotel on Makati Avenue, but past the stupid one-way section. Coming from EDSA, you go down Makati Ave, and when you get to the one way section, there's a set detour. Follow the detour, and you'll come out near Barrio Fiesta (it'll be on the left)... Aberdeen will be on the opposite side, back in the direction you came from. It's the only tall hotel on its block, and Gulliver's is on the 11th floor. Parking is outside, but it isn't usually crowded.
The steaks at Gulliver's are top-notch. Not exactly as good as Antonio's but they're very very close. The fish is much better, though... at under p500 for a seabass fillet, it's a steal. I'm thinking of trying the lobster next time. The garnishes and side dishes at Antonio's seem a little better... but then, it's more expensive.
A steak and a couple of sides can put you at over P 1000 per head at Antonios, (spent 8,000 last time for six people... with two of us sharing one fish dish) while a meal at Gulliver's can be had at under P 1000 per head (spent 5,500 for six people, with two appetizers, and a soup. Two of us had fish.)
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
