I was just having a conversation with my wife on this topic.

sabi ko, a nice car here in the Philippines is NOT carnap prone.
ang madalas ma-carnap are the common cars (Vios, City, Innova etc), kasi palaging may car owner na naghahanap ng cheap surplus car parts.

To be fair to Kags

"True QC" or New Manila is full of exotic cars. People who live in townhouses have Porsches and Ferraris, not really surprising looking a the asking price for a townhouse in the area now.

That's true everywhere naman. Aside from joyriders thieves steal cars to make money, so it makes sense to steal something whose parts are easier to fence.

UK the most stolen car is Ford Fiesta or Focus, in the US it's the F150 or Silverado.
