Whew! Another 10 page back reading. Well worth it!

I think 50yo just wants to be the first one to conquer Cath as his big time bragging rights. That's the main reason why he is so persistent all these years. Let's not kid ourselves, anyone of us in the shoes of 50yo would probably do the same - sans the verbal abuse. The abuse could've also caused him his mission. If he went the romantic way, it would've increased his chances.

However, it's quite definite that he has no plans beyond that based on his preference for younger girls.

My point below doesn't seem to have been mentioned in first few pages. [I read up until page 20 so far.]

My guess, why he "doesn't even know why he is still going for you", As you mentioned, it's because you're the only girl in your barkada he hasn't been able to sleep with yet. Kita mo rin with how he talks trying to make you stick with him kasi you are "past your prime", kumbaga what he is trying to say is that he is all you have. Which is not true naman.

Just something to take note of is that bad boys love a challenge. When he finally wins, the excitement disappears and he will begin looking for a new challenge.

Either that, or you're the only person who remotely puts up with him on a long term basis, and while I think that's sad for him, mas kawawa ka to be on this end of an abusive relationship.

Sorry to say this pero time to just stop thinking about him and drop him na. Many other fish in the sea. Everyone deserves someone who will at least treat them right.

I can't imagine how any 20+ yr old would want to be with a 50 yr old? I'm in my 30s and I know that I am better off with someone my age since as mentioned in the thread if we end up together, there is a chance he won't even see the children graduate. Another concern of mine is could he even have *** everyday?

I do suspect he has side chicks. Well I know one of them (our girl friend) The problem is she really fell hard for him. I told him our girl friend is so in love with him and makes so much effort for him, why can't he love her back? He just said he does not like her. That is so ruthless
