No other choice ba but that 500km far away ciaz only? Kung medyo pinag-iisipan mong mabuti yung 1st 1k kms, pag-sipan mo na rin yung every 6 months na casa visit.
Pag iniisip ko kasi, every visit is around 5k in gas na agad, plus that is a 20 hour drive back and forth, oras at pagod yan brad, also may wear and tear ka agad for 1k kms 2x a year, for a simple oil change or pms. and this is also additional exposure to road accidents. Sulit ba?

para saken iba yung sikip ng bago compared sa mga more than 10k na tinakbo. mas malaki chance ng metal to metal contact so expect natin na may "burrs" kahit papaano na pwedeng mag circulate sa loob ng engine

November 12th, 2017 02:08 AM #56Before the year 2k, most car brands require the cars to undergo change oil aftr the first 1k-5k kms to remove the metal filings produced between the moving parts during the initial bedding-in for them to properly seat and be truly congruent. Fast forward few decades later and that dictum changed a whole lot because technology advanced so much that machining process reached a whole new level. Microscopically, the parts' surfaces are much, much smoother & finer now compared to engines produced decades earlier. This smoother surfaces now results to engines with tighter tolerances but with lesser unwanted metal-to-metal wear, hence, with better efficiency and higher ouput. So at this time, having your change oil after the first 1k is "probably" not that necessary and additional expense. But then again, there is no harm done if you do it after the first 1k km. Its more of a preventive step & insurance for an expensive investment. IMHO, I will also do an oil change after 1k...

I'm about to do my first 1k pms. Ok lang ba na i skip yung engine flushing? is that even necessary. I saw some folks kasi na the casa have done it.
Pero my brother and father advised against it
