I have both in front of now. As for the Bosch, the bypass section filter of the Bosch appears to have a hexagon shaped stacked media type similar to the example shown below.

    The BD28.

Ceteris paribus, is it just me or it seems baldwin appears to be using a more conventional type of filter media (vs. the supposed stacked media on the Bosch).

    Bwahahaha

How do you find their Baldwin filter ? Hope they are not peddling counterfeits like the other shop there.

They are original, all genuine indications posted on the baldwin site are present. bar code (same on the box), 11 digit code on top, dark colored red housing, crimped base plate, made in the USA logo...

The kind of media used is more important IMO than the actual style. Nevertheless, Bosch is indeed a very good filter.

Its base plate holes looks different from the "newer" one in the cumminsfiltration website.

Those are the same ones I have, Those are actually the best ones they made, the stacked disk media cannot be beat for efficiency.

So did they finally get the BD28 back in stock, I will be in Manila on Thursday at Berrima Diesel getting a Dyno tune on my van. Might check out Volmax. From the looks of the pics I have more filters than they do.

To bad I don't have any until next month either. I unpacked about 70% of my little filter hoarding I had left from the states. Damm I forgot how many I actually had lol.
