    Ry, nakita ko brochure ng shell rimula sa net, claim nila na malaki score nila sa cummins test ata at mack eo test...
    IMHO tinatamad lang at nagtitipid shell na mag-pa test pa ng API CI-4 rating, mahal kasi. Kaya kung titignan mo kahit yung higher-end na helix diesel eh CF nga lang rating. Tiwala na rin kasi at proven ng pinoy. Sa specs kasi ng oil na yan, pang CI-4/CI+4 na eh. Ranger WLT 2.5 ng bayaw ko nga eh nearing 300K na, thrice na nagpalit ng timing belt (every 90K kasi) pero okay pa din engine. Shell helix diesel pa gamit. ayaw magpalit eh kahit ano convince ko. Pang-top up niya shell r3x nga lang kasi mas mura daw. hehe

    Mahal talaga DGU, yung DG multigrade 15w40 nila na CH-4 yung medyo mura, yung 18ltr pail kasi nakukuha ko ng p2,960 para sa mga trucks namin.

    actually yung plan ko.. dapat tumagal engine ko hangang ma-achieve ko yung 999,999 sa odometer.. hehehe...
    kanina habang pa change oil ako, yung mga pinaglumaan na gamit nang langis binibili kasi daw yung mga jeep yun ang gagamitin nila...

    kaya pala yung kapitbahay ko na meh mga jeep once every two months eh overhaul ng overhaul....

    valenzuela office nila sir... tsaka shell lubricants lang distribute nila, wala sila delo eh...

    so far wala ako makita o matalisod na distributor ng delo, parang sa gas stations lang meron...

    What kind of OCI can we expect from Shell rimula R3X 15W40 if partnered with a Baldwin or Fleetguard ?

    Miko, how many liters inside a pail ?

    ========

    Checked the Mobil 1 Delvac MX 15W-40 at ACe today. Its around 1129 something for a 5 liter jug.

    20 liters per pail...
    Personally i still change it at 5k OCI.... Dahil sa mura naman rimula, the oil will never get depleted, at around 60% of oil life pag pinalitan, lage malinis pa at ok pa additive system...

    Ok. 5,000 kms is just three months or less for our L300s. There is also the issue of shortage in filters (except Bosch).

    Bosch ba preferred mo filters for the l300's? O baldwin?
    I think the 5k change interval is just about right if service type ang vehicle na gagamitan ng rimula...

    Before it was Baldwin so we do 10K+ with DELO 400

    Now, no choice but Bosch so the most is 6K to 7K max with DELO 400.

Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
