Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?

contacted the casa na. their workaround is, come in after 5k kms for a 1 li FS top up and oil filter replacement.

is there a big difference ba in terms of performance ng engine if you use fully synth and do top ups every 5k VS religiously changing your oil every 5000 kms using mineral oil? kasi ako ever since mineral oil lang ako sa dating mirage hatchback ko (using Shell Helix rated 15w-40 btw)

i mean, mas maganda ba ang response ng engine, mas tahimik at di "magaspang" ang takbo? never pa kasi ako nakagamit ng Fully Synth na engine oil.

FS oils work as intended far longer than mineral oil. Better additives as well. Can't say smoother, I always use FS.

Engine runs smoother every oil change though.

what about cost, po? they may work longer, but if they also cost more... anyone with computations?
and yes, my engine runs "better" after every oil change. mineral oil lang ako.

I only pay 250 per liter sa ginagamit ko na brand. :D 5w - 30 API SN/CF at 5w-40 API CJ-4/SM for my gasoline carvand diesel suv.

marami kasing nagsasabi na mas ok daw yung fully synth, "magpafully synthetic kana, mas ok eh" then i ask, pano mo nasabi na mas ok kung after 5000 kms eh nagtop up kalang at di naman nidrain yung old engine oil mo? ako kasi from my 2015 Mirage Hatchback, from 1k, 5k (CASA oil) then 10k, 15k and 20k - all Shell Helix Mineral oil. pakiramdam ko mas ok na magdrain ng lahat ng oil at magpalit ng OEM oil filter every 5000k KMS kesa topup topup lang. i honestly don't know what benefits i get from a fully synth sa engine ko. Helix costs me Php175/L VS Helix 0w-40 worth 300-350 pesos??
