If you check the manual, 15W-40 is recommended for the 1TR-FE (2.0li VVT-i). API SL or SM.

Thanks for the reply....But, after looking at my receipt, I notice the following description: RUBIA TIT 7400 15w40 and googled it and found this http://www.total-oil.uz/products/pds...00%2015W40.pdf

It states na for diesel yung 15W40 ang Total oil na nalagay ko. Dapat ko bang mag-drain at mag-change oil ulit immediately? By the way bago yung oil filter ko, dapat rin bang palitan?

    Please help....

Diesel specific oil can be used on gasolines. It is better this way since the diesel oil has more detergents to clean and protect your gas engine. But if your is equipped with a catalytic converter, you need to watch out for the amount of zinc and phosphorus (should be less than 1200 ppm) that the diesel oil you will be using. Most diesel oil that says "low emission", "emission system protection, etc... or are API CI are safe for the cat converter since they usually have less than 1,000 ppm of zinc and phosphorus.

Based on the link you provided, it looks safe. There is no need to drain it out, in other words. Use the oil until your next oil change.

The most damage using a really old school diesel dino oil like Petron HD on a vehicle with catalytic converter is that it would lead to cat poisoning, rendering it ineffective.

yes, relax lang brad. worst case scenario is to drain it and change it kung mali ang kinarga.

Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
