Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?

pricey sir kung mineral oil lang yan.... are you sure it is mineral oil? 5W-30 kasi viscosity. Viscosity seems to be a synthetic type of oil.

^ya its mineral that is thinner than the typical semi-syn 10W40 & full-syn 5W40, thats why its better to focus in the viscosity rating rather than the oil type

the same brand carry the full-syn with the same viscosity 5W30 at P520 per quart

ah okay sir. hindi ba medyo thin ung viscosity na 30? will you be using it in fairly new cars?

Been using 10w30 mineral oil in my 06 ride, never had any problem.

ah okay sir. i read somewhere kung brand new okay lang 30 but if luma na mas recommended ang 40 viscosity. anyway, preference din naman yan ng car owner on which viscosity grade to choose.

Been using mobil super 1000 15W40 (P950/4liter) for 6months na para sa vvti...and, I think its smoother than castrol magnatec. Mas mura pa sya, kailangan lang ipares sa toyota oil filter para super smooth yung engine, kasi kung vic oil filter..medyo magaspang sa engine.
