March 17th, 2009 07:45 AM #12procedure dyan ganito;
paandarin yung sasakyan at gumamit ng bypass feed wire ( it must be fused with the right rating )

The electric motor in these fuel pumps do wear out eventually. My take on this is that the carbon brush "dust" may have filled up the gaps between the commutator, causing it to short and tick-off the fuse.

March 19th, 2009 10:50 PM #16Thanks sir for the info, grabe kasi price ng brand new Fuel Pump, 7.5k!?!

Be sure to use the existing wiring of your fuel pump and not to just tap in in the ignition. It is not suppose to be permanently turned on when you switch the ignition.

March 20th, 2009 08:26 AM #18guess ko lang parang hindi well versed yung gagawa nito ,
to make the fuel pump working properly , it must be installed under the car railing ( chassis) and not only that , the tank has to have a lift pump built -in in order to initialize the fuel delivery into the main pump.
the negative effect of installing it above the tank level is great, the guy must consider that .

There are also safety issues here.
